Is Aerial Mapping a good fit for your project site?
Aerial capture is a powerful tool, but it’s not ideal for every site. This method works best when it adds real value to the design or planning process.
Aerial scanning is a good fit if:

The property is larger than 1 acre

There are lots of irregular or organic shapes (garden beds, curved patios, etc.)

the site is sloped, has tricky access, or is hard to capture from ground level

Your team needs a digital twin of the site to reduce in-person visits

The property is far from your office, and capturing it once accurately saves time later
Aerial scanning is not ideal for:

Tightly treed city lots where the drone can't capture clear visual data

Small or simple properties under 0.5 acre with minimal complexity

Sites where access is restricted or unsafe for drone flight
